Why are some organisms produce many eggs?

HELP!

Probably because the chances that one of them hatching and adulthood are small. Many fish produce thousands of eggs and turtles lay hundreds of people in their nests. These are the parents care for their eggs or chicks. The survival of eggs and young people are greater if the parents care for them. Secondly, parents have not put so many eggs!
