turquoise and rhodonite?

how do large crystals of These two minerals get? Always microscopic Are They?

For the most part Both minerals Usually are found with a massive structure however microcrystaline They produce well defined crystals dog But this is VERY rare. In my own collection I have a turquoise specimen Which shows a mass of well defined crystals of about 3mm. in size. I Also Have A single crystal rhodonite (Which is part of gem quality) 35 x 22 x 15 mm. Which is close to the largest I Have ever seen.
